In September 2018, Deepwater Wind South Fork, LLC filed an application with the Public Service Commission to construct, operate and maintain the South Fork Export Cable (SFEC) Project. The SFEC Project would connect the proposed South Fork Wind Farm, located in federal jurisdictional waters east of Montauk Point, to the existing mainland electric transmission and distribution system in the Town of East Hampton, Suffolk County.
Suez Water New York Inc. Proposed Rate Increase and Merger Case 19-W-0816
In March 2019, Suez Water requested the New York State Public Service Commission (Commission) approve proposed increases in its water service rates. The Company subsequently filed a petition seeking to consolidate all four of its New York operating units into one entity called Suez Water New York, Inc (SWNY/Company). Suez Water requested that the Commission consider the two petitions together for a common record and schedule.
National Grid Pipeline E37 Reliability & Resiliency Project Case 19-T-0069
In February 2019, National Grid filed an application with the New York State Public Service Commission seeking approval to construct and operate the proposed Pipeline E37 Reliability and Resiliency Project (the Project). The Project would include a new 7.3-mile long, 16-inch diameter natural gas transmission pipeline. The proposed Project would be located in the Town of Bethlehem in Albany County and Towns of East and North Greenbush in Rensselaer County.
Public Statement Hearings Scheduled for Con Edison Temporary Gas Moratorium 17-G-0606
On January 17, 2019, Con Edison announced that due to a recent trend of increasing natural gas demand, beginning March 15, 2019, it would not accept new natural gas customers in the majority of its Westchester County natural gas service territory due to an inability to meet projected future demand on the coldest winter days.

On September 18, 2018, Bluestone Wind, LLC filed an application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need seeking approval under Article 10 of the Public Service Law to construct and operate a 124-megawatt wind-powered electric generating facility (Project). The Project is proposed to be located in the Towns of Sanford and Windsor, in Broome County, New York. Public statement hearings have been scheduled.
Moses-Adirondack Smart Path Proposed Transmission Facility Rebuild Case 18-T-0207
In April 2018, the New York Power Authority (NYPA), filed an application with the New York State Public Service Commission seeking approval to construct the Moses-Adirondack Smart Path Reliability project (Smart Path). NYPA plans to rebuild two substations and the existing 230 kilovolt (kV) transmission lines that extend approximately 86 miles from the Town of Massena, St. Lawrence County to the Town of Croghan, Lewis County, New York. On November 29, 2017, Eight Point Wind, LLC filed an application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need seeking approval under Article 10 of the Public Service Law to construct a 101.8-megawatt wind-powered electric generating facility.
Baron Island Winds, LLC Proposed Electric Generation Facility- Case 15-F-0122
On November 29, 2017, Baron Winds, LLC (Applicant) filed an Application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need (Certificate) seeking approval under Article 10 of the Public Service Law (PSL) to construct a 300-megawatt (MW) wind-powered electric generating facility. The project is proposed to be located in the Towns of Cohocton, Dansville, Fremont, and Wayland, Steuben County.
