NYS Public Service Commission RSS

What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary) is a popular new way to pull in information from across the Internet to get daily updates, often used for News Headlines. By using an RSS reader, you can view data feeds from various sources that may include headlines, summaries and links to documents. RSS allows you to stay informed of web updates by being notified immediately when new content is posted to a site.
How do I access RSS?

RSS Readers or Feed Readers (News Aggregators) can be downloaded from the web, many are free. Some Email Applications, such as GMail, Google and myAOL have RSS Readers built-in and you can add your favorite RSS Links. Windows Internet Explorer 7.0 also has an RSS Reader built-in. These tools allow you to sign up for various feeds from news sources, blogs and Web sites. They collect all the headlines and summaries in one place so you don't have to search around to see what's new.
