Issues with pop-up windows not opening in Internet Explorer 6 or 7



Objective: add http://documents.dps.state.ny.us to trusted zone.

You do this by
• clicking on "Tools/Internet Options"
• Click on the "Security" tab.
• Click on the "Trusted Sites" icon

• Click on the "Sites" button
• Type http://documents.dps.state.ny.us into the box labeled "Add this website to the zone"
• Click the "Add" button next to that box
• Make sure that the check box in front of "Require verification (https://) for all sites in this zone" is not checked.
• Click on the "Close" button.





Click the "Custom Level..." button and enable "automatic prompting for file downloads" and "File Download".



Click the "OK" button

Close all Internet Explorer windows and try again.
