North America Transmission proposes to site two transmission lines: one is a proposed 78-mile long 345 kV transmission line from Edic substation to Fraser substation, that would be predominantly located parallel to the New York Power Authority (NYPA) Marcy-South transmission line, and traverse portions of Oneida, Herkimer, Otsego and Delaware Counties. The other proposed transmission line is a 65-mile long 345 kV line from New Scotland substation to the Pleasant Valley substation, that would be located parallel to existing National Grid electric lines and traverse portions of Albany, Greene, Columbia and Dutchess Counties.
